‘House of Flying Daggers’ takes place during the Tang Dynasty’s decline. The government is corrupt, and social unrest is raging throughout the land. Many rebel factions are at war with the government, the most famous one being the House of Flying daggers.

Red Cliff, as the title it self suggests is based on the Battle of Red Cliffs (AD 208–209) and the events at the end of the Han dynasty and immediately prior to the Three Kingdoms period in imperial China.

These are all films that depict ancient china and gave me insight of how Chinese people used to dress as well as how the architecture looked like. Although I did cross-reference with other sources such as the British Museum.
i found that it gave me more of an insight regarding how people used to dress at different points in history, the colour range available for cloth and decoration as well as how the architecture looked from the outside as well as the inside. |
